Scale Tab

If a product is a Scale Line details need to be entered into the Scale tab.

PLU

To enter a scale PLU for a product you can type it into the PLU box, this will allow you to search for this product in Browser via the entered number.

Lock sell as per Pricing Tab

When this box is checked the price for the item will be pulled from the Pricing tab.

Sell Price

This field displays the current sell price for the scale product.

Pack QTY

You can enter a pack qty for your fixed weight scale product, for example Bakery rolls 6pk, you would type 6 into this field.

Best Before

If the product needs a Best Before date key the number of days into this box.

Scales Mode

Using the drop down arrow you can allocate if the product is to be weighed at the scales or is a fixed weight.

Price Override

From this field you can choose if price override will be allowed on the item. You can select allow, prohibit or refer.

Avery date

This option will only be available when you are using an Avery scale.

text Wedd.

This option will only be available when you are using a Wedderburn scale.

Fixed Weight

Type the Weight of a fixed weight scale item into this field for example Bakery Multi grain loaf 650g, type 650 into the Fixed Weight field.

Tare

Type in the tare weight you want to be applied at the scales.

On add / change

This section allows you to tick in one of the boxes so when you send a change the requested data will be sent to the scales.

DESCRIPTION SECTION

This section is when the description and any ingredients which need to print onto the scale label.

Ezi Office will default the size to 2, type the description, or you can click on the Use Long Description button and Ezi Office will import the description you already have in Item Properties.

Change the text size to 7 and type the ingredients in underneath the description.

Ensure when all data has been keyed into this tab you click on the Add / Change button which will turn red when changes have been made.  Then click Save & Close to exit.

SCALES LOCATION

From the scales location section you can select which scale the product will be packaged at, by flagging the box next to the scale.
