POS Settings allow you to alter multiple settings that change how the product is handled at the POS.
Weighed Item
If this box is ticked the product will weigh at the register
Manual Weight
If this box is ticked the operator will be prompted to enter a weight when the product is scanned at the register.
Allow Discounts
When this box is checked the discounts will be allowed (subject to discounts allowed/not allowed on specials).
No Discount on Specials
When this box is checked no discounts will be allowed on the product when it is on special. This box is checked by default.
Prohibit Quantity
When this box is checked a quantity cannot be inputted when scanning this item, each individual product must be scanned individually.
Quantity Required
When this box is checked operators will be prompted for a quantity whenever they scan the item.
Price Required
When this box is ticked the operator will be prompted to enter a price when the product is scanned at the register.
Price Verify
When this box is ticked the operator will be prompted to verify the price when the product is scanned at the register.
Price Override
When this box is ticked operators will be allowed to modify the price of the item at the register. Tick this box if you would like to perform markdowns on the item.
Item Recall
Tick this box when a recall notice has been issued for the product. This prevents the item from being sold whilst the box is ticked.
No Repeat
When this box is ticked the repeat function will be disabled for this item at the register.
No Refund
When this box is ticked refunds will not be allowed for the item.
No Return
When this box is ticked returns or exchanges will not be allowed for the item.
Client Age
Sets a minimum age for a client wishing to purchase this item.
Operator Age
Sets a minimum age for a operator to sell this item.
Tare
Choose a tare from the drop down list to remove it from the product when it is scanned. To set up a new tare value #####.
