The combo maintenance screen is brought up by double clicking on a deal.

Combo name - Type and appropriate name for your meal deal

Save button - Saves your changes in the combo maintenance screen.

Receipt description - Use up to 30 characters for your meal deal description to be printed on customer dockets.

Start - Start date for this meal deal.  Click the drop down arrow to display the calendar.

End - End date for this meal deal.  Click the drop down arrow to display the calendar.

Enabled button - This button toggles from Enabled to Disabled which allow you to enable or disable the meal deal.

Sales Info button - View sales information for this meal deal

 


 

Conditions - Type

Select the type of products to be included in the meal deal.

Item - You can create combo deals for selected items only

Department - You can create combo deals for selected departments only

Promo group - Create combo deals for items you have set up with promo group details in Item properties

 


 

Conditions - Code

 

Select the correct code (item code or group) to be included in the meal deal.  Depending on your Type selection (above), please select the correct code or group to be used in your meal deal.

Code - Item

 

You can only select one item at a time, this will allow you to double check you have entered the correct items for the meal deal.

 

1.Click the drop-down arrow to display the mini browser.

2.Use the mini browser to search for the item to be included in the meal deal

3.Highlight the item to use

4.Click Select button

5.Click Add button

6.Repeat steps to add more items.

pin note Description will auto-fill when you select an item code.

 

Code - Department

 

You can only select one department at a time.  this will allow you to double check you have entered the correct departments for the meal deal.

 

1.Click the drop-down arrow to display the department list

2.Highlight the department to use

3.Click Select

4.Click Add button

5.Repeat steps to add more departments

 

Code - Promo group

 

1.Click the drop-down arrow to display the promo group list

2.Highlight the promo group to use

3.Click Select

4.Click Add button

 


 

View Promo group button

 

Lists all items available for purchase in the selected meal deal.  This includes families.

 


 

Quantity #

 

Use Quantity to set the number of items to be purchased by the customer for the meal deal to take effect.  Eg; If you type 1 in the Quantity # box, your customer will only need to buy 1 of each  product in the meal deal for the combo deal to trigger.  If you select Quantity to be met, you cannot set a price in the Amount $ box.

 


 

Amount $

 

Use Amount to set a dollar value for the customer to purchase for the combo deal to take effect.  Eg; Spend $10 in the deli and you can get a hot chicken for a special price.  If you select Amount to be met, you cannot set a quantity in the Quantity # box.

 


 

Add button

 

Add the conditions to the list window (Item/Dept/Promo group) as part of the meal deal.

 


 

Clear button

 

Clear the conditions boxes and start again.

 


 

Remove button

 

Select an item from the conditions list and remove this selection from the meal deal.

 


 

Combo pricing

 

1.  Type in the meal deal amount in the Combo $ box.

2.  Select where you want this meal deal to report for your end of day figures

 


 

Limit to one per transaction

 

Tick this box if you want to limit one combo deal per transaction. Only one meal deal will be given per transaction, any additional combination purchased will be charged individually. This means if your customer buys 2 lots of fish and chips on a combo deal promotion, they will receive the first lot on a combo deal price but the second lot will be charged at normal price.
