A new Ezi-Office feature, Deal Wizard makes creating combo deals and multibuy promotions much simpler. For more information on Deal Wizard, see the Deal Wizard chapter.
Combo deal involves 2 or more different items combined together to make up a promotion for your customer. Using the combo deal function in Ezi Office gives you the option to set either a quantity or dollar value for the combo deal to trigger at the register.
A Combo deal price will override the current register price. If the conditions for a combo deal is not met, your register will charge the current register price for individual items. If there are any items in the combo deal you want to be sold individually at a lesser price, there must be a current instore or weekly special set up in Ezi Office.
Creating a Meal Deal involves two (2) stages. The first stage requires information to be set up correctly in item properties for all the items that will be included in the combo deal.
The next stage involves creating a link between stage one above and your register to make sure your Combo Deal behaves as it should when scanned.
