The Shop-ezi scale supports various different hardware devices and configurations. Examples of this are Thermal Label Printers, POS Receipt Printers, Etfpos Pin Pads, RFID Readers, Wireless Network Adapters, and Keyboards etc.
Examples of Standard Setups; •Supermarkets as Label Printers only, Ezi-scale with SATO CG208 OR ZEBRA GK420d Thermal Label Printer.
•Small Shop POS Systems (Receipt Only), Ezi-scale with EPSON ESC-POS Language compatible Thermal Printer.
•Larger Stores Label and POS Machine Ezi-scale with SATO CG208 OR ZEBRA GK420d Thermal Label Printer, EPSON ESC-POS Language compatible Thermal Printer & USB Scanner.
When Connecting hardware to the ezi-scale, Make sure that all devices are powered off.
Label Printers are connected to the two cables exiting the ezi-scale on the right side of the machine, 1x USB and 1x Power Cable for printer. Some Label Printers can be setup as “Network Printers” and can be accessed by any ezi-scale on the network to print Labels.
Receipt Thermal Printers are connected to the communications port on the Left side of the ezi-scale. Normal connected to comm. Port 4, but may be connected to comm. Port 2 if needed.
Eftpos Pin Pads are connected to Comm. Port 2 if it is a Serial Device. Otherwise connect it to the recommended Interface. (Ethernet or USB)
Scanners, Wireless Network Adapters, USB Flash Storage Devices, Keyboards and Mice are all connected to the ezi-scale via USB on the left side of the machine.
