TUN Orders/Stocktake

A TUN is the barcode on each carton of product.  Until recently, there was no use for this carton barcode because we used Item barcodes for everything - ordering, stocktake, etc.  Your new Ezi Mobile unit and now Ezi Office, allow you to do more with carton barcodes.

TUN Orders

Use TUN when creating orders.  Some stores like the benefit of being able to order by looking at what they have in stock in the back room and replenish accordingly.  Scan the outer carton instead of individual items when creating your order.

TUN Stocktake
 

Use TUN when conducting a stocktake count in the back room, loading dock, over-head or walk-in fridge/freezer.  Check the cartons aren't broken and don't have units missing to accurately report on your stocktake.

How to use TUN - Ezi Mobile

You can scan TUN barcodes any time in the Item box.  Ezi Mobile has been cleverly designed to accept item numbers, APN, description and TUN barcodes in the Item box. See Ezi Order Input as an example.
