Locations are used for a number of advanced functions in the modern supermarket they range in functionally depending on the complexity of the store
1.Printed labels can be sorted into bay order when printing to ease the task of label hanging operations 2.Reports can be generated by bay or Isle locations to track sales 3.Touch terminals can be used to guide customers to a product in the store 4.Stock take can be carried out by location and a value per location be reported on
to set a product into a location you need to follow the below information, it is assumed here that the locations have been setup in Ezi-Office and the barcode identifiers have been hang in place around the store, please ref to the Ezi-Office manual for this process
To set the current location scan the location barcode at the top of the bay or select a location from the list, then set the number of labels and talkers for each item in the bay and scan the items to set the location, there are three options avaiable when scanning the products.
1.Add, this will add a second location to a item, items can have more than one location and each location can have a different number of labels and talkers 2.Remove, this will remove the selected location from the products that are scanned 3.Replace, this is the default action, it will remove any location details from the items and replace them with a single location of the one currently set
select the required option then just scan your item to set the location settings
